Slumber party hire agreement

This agreement and your confirmed invoice describe your equipment, package, price and hire times. Hire is for 24 hours unless agreed otherwise. A $50 deposit, credited towards your total, confirms your booking once received. The balance is due 5 working days before delivery or collection. Payment details are on your invoice. We may withhold equipment until payment is received.
Refundable bond
A $150 cash bond is payable at delivery or collection. It is refunded when equipment is returned and checked, normally on the same day, less any justified charges under this agreement. We will explain and itemise any deductions. The bond does not limit your responsibility for reasonable charges.
Cancellations & changes
Please contact us promptly to cancel or request a date change. For cancellations more than 7 days before hire, the cancellation charge is up to $50. Within 7 days, it is up to the full booking price. In either case, charges will not exceed our reasonable loss, allowing for costs saved and any replacement booking; any excess paid is refunded. Date changes depend on availability and any agreed costs. If we cancel, we refund payments for services not supplied. Consumer-law rights still apply.
Delivery, access & return
For full-service bookings, delivery, setup and collection within 25 km of Burpengary East are included. Travel fees apply beyond 25 km and are calculated with your booking enquiry. Tell us about stairs, difficult access or parking restrictions before booking; any extra fee must be agreed. Provide a clear, clean, dry indoor setup area and an adult to receive the equipment. DIY delivery or customer collection arrangements follow your confirmed invoice. DIY hirers must follow our setup and packing instructions. Have equipment ready at the agreed return or collection time; any additional hire or return-trip charge must be reasonable and disclosed in advance.
Care & safety
An adult must supervise children and keep equipment secure throughout hire. Keep equipment dry and away from smoking, flames, cooking, pets (except assistance animals) and anything likely to stain it. Do not move a professionally assembled setup without our agreement. Check items on receipt and report missing, damaged or faulty items promptly on 0457 224 372. Stop using unsafe equipment and do not attempt repairs; contact us so we can arrange a suitable remedy.
Cleaning, loss & damage
Linen does not need washing. Return all items dry, free of rubbish and reasonably clean. A cleaning charge of up to $25 per affected item may apply for stains or excessive dirt beyond normal use, limited to reasonable cleaning costs. You are responsible for loss or damage caused by you or your guests, excluding fair wear and tear, existing faults and damage caused by us. Reasonable repair or replacement costs may apply, taking account of the item’s age and condition. Full-service dismantling is handled by us; DIY equipment must be packed as instructed.
Your rights & acceptance
Nothing in this agreement excludes rights or remedies under Australian Consumer Law, or our responsibility for negligence. If unexpected events prevent the hire, we will contact you to discuss alternatives and any refund required by law. By signing below, or accepting these terms in writing and paying the deposit, you agree to these terms.
